Getting to Moab isn't easy. Those from surrounding states may wish drive, others will want to fly into Grand Junction, Colorado where a member of the For The Ride team will greet you and take you by shuttle van to our chosen accommodations - which range from well-appointed bed and breakfasts and hotels.
Most guests will arrive in the afternoon affording time to get acquainted and enjoy a relaxing meal before many will retire early in anticipation of the adventures to come.
Day Two
After a hearty breakfast, we head out for a day playing on the famed Slickrock trails. This is great way to get warmed up and try your skills on the technical smooth surfaces of this unique rock formation. Guests are provided a safety briefing during breakfast - there is a safe way to approach natural terrain and a dangerous way - make it out in alive, ride with an experienced guide!
Close enough to our accommodations and always a group favorite, slickrock is often visited again later in the trip.
Day Three
Following breakfast, we hit the trail this time riding Porcupine Rim, a trail that traverses high above the Colorado River before returning you to town. Estimated distance is 34 miles / 4-5 hours. Lunch will be served at one of our favorite local restaurants.
Day Four
After breakfast, we load up for a great ride from Hurrah Pass to Amasa Back. Estimated distance 24 miles / 3-4 hours.
The afternoon is spent hiking unrideable trails in Arches National Park, sightseeing, or relaxing. Optional river adventures are available.
Day Five
Today for our final ride, we take on Poison Spider. Estimated distance is 20 miles / 3 hours.
