Going to the Sun - Road Ride
"Far away in northwestern Montana, hidden from view by clustering mountain-peaks, lies an unmapped corner-- the Crown of the Continent."
--George Bird Grinnell, 'Father' of Glacier National Park .
The ride through Glacier National Park on the Going to the Sun Highway, for many, is the ride of a lifetime! Surrounded by granite peaks carved over time by glaciers - on one of the epic days of this trip -, our ride climbs to Logan Pass crossing the continental divide at 6,646 ft elevation, before descending into the valley for our stay on Lake MacDonald at the Lodge. The riding and hiking in and around Glacier National Park is remote, pristine and amazing!
