If you are ready for a new adventure and a new place to ride, grab your friends and let For the Ride take you there!   We are currently taking reservations for our 2008 mountain and road bike vacation tours, including availability on our fall trips to Copper Canyon, Mexico; Glacier, Montana; and Zermatt, Switzerland; as well as the 2009 AMGEN Tour of California.   Custom trips are also available in most locations.

For the Ride is operated by a group of adventure athletes, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts who travel the world in search of the best mountain biking, cycling and action sports opportunities the planet has to offer.    We  pride ourselves on having ridden some of the best and most exotic trails in the world.

Whether you want to experience the redrock formations of Moab, Utah, the rugged mountains of Colorado and Montana, trail features of Vancouver, British Columbia, the foothills and mountains of California, or explore exotic locations such as Zermatt, Switzerland, the island of Aruba, or the rainforest of Costa Rica, we are ready to make the most of your next adventure vacation! 

We base our adventure vacations around mountain and road bikes for two simple reasons: First, we love to ride and live For the Ride.   Second, there is no better way to get to know these exotic, majestic, and beautiful places than by bike.   With endless hiking trails, old logging roads, and even trail features, ski lifts and helicoptors, there are a lot of great places to ride.

Many of our tours include opportunities to engage in such activities as whitewater rafting, kayaking, kite surfing, snowboarding, snorkeling, horseback riding, hiking, and zip-lining.  In addition, each itinerary allows ample time for relaxation and visiting historical and cultural sights.   Our tours provide a unique opportunity to explore new terrain and are designed to expose guests to all of the best an area has to offer both on and off the bike.

We cater to small groups of individuals, couples, and friends, from recreational enthusiasts and weekend warriors to hardcore extreme athletes.   All tours are designed and tailored to match the abilities and desires of the guests.   However, all of our tours should be considered moderate to advanced backcountry adventures requiring an appropriate level of fitness and technical skills.
